The NASCAR Cup Series event at Nashville Superspeedway has been temporarily halted due to rain. Track officials instructed fans to leave the grandstands and seek shelter as weather conditions worsened around the speedway.
NASCAR has confirmed the delay and encouraged fans to stay tuned to Prime Video for the latest updates. A revised start time has been announced, with engines expected to fire at 8:25 p.m. ET as crews continue drying the track.
The 14th stop of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series was originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET start, but wet weather on Saturday washed out qualifying, forcing NASCAR to determine the starting lineup according to its rulebook.
Denny Hamlin will lead the field from the pole position, awarded to him by the rulebook. The series will travel to Michigan International Speedway after Nashville, with Hamlin aiming to secure back-to-back wins at the track.
