The New England Patriots have strengthened their offense with the signings of guard Alijah Vera-Tucker and wide receiver Romeo Doubs, according to AP sources.
Vera-Tucker agreed to a 3-year, $42 million contract, while Doubs signed a 4-year, $70 million pact.
Vera-Tucker, a 25-year-old guard, brings experience from his four seasons with the New York Jets, where he started 43 games at both guard spots.
Doubs, also 25, had a standout season with the Green Bay Packers, leading the team with 55 catches for 724 yards and tying for the team lead with six receiving touchdowns.
The signings come after the Patriots addressed their defensive priorities by agreeing to a deal with edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones, who is getting a 3-year, $39.5 million deal.
