Millions of gamers are set to queue up at midnight on June 25 to pre-order the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The game, set for a November 19 launch, has sparked excitement among fans, with many eager to order their single-player edition as soon as possible.
A concern emerged in PlayStation's final few hours of marketing, with the company initially stating that GTA VI "plays best on PS5" without confirming whether it would be PlayStation 5 Pro-enhanced.
However, in a blog post published on the PlayStation website, Sony clarified that GTA VI will be "best played" on the PlayStation 5 console, taking advantage of PS5's immersive features to deliver a deeply engaging single-player experience.
The clarification came after a close partnership between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games, which will allow the game to utilize PS5's capabilities upon launch.
While the exact benefits of PlayStation 5 Pro enhancement for GTA VI remain unclear, the confirmation has put an end to speculation and rumors surrounding the game's performance on the PS5 Pro console.
