The Las Vegas Raiders have launched a massive overhaul of their roster, signing key players and making trades in an effort to rebound from last season's disappointing 3-14 record.
The team has added linebacker Nakobe Dean, edge rusher Kwity Paye, and linebacker Quay Walker to their defense, while also signing wide receiver Jalen Nailor and retaining cornerback Eric Stokes.
The Raiders have also traded for Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson and brought back defensive end Malcolm Koonce on a one-year deal.
The biggest move of the day came in the trenches, as the Raiders reached an agreement with three-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum on a three-year, $81 million contract, making him the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in the NFL.
Linderbaum's arrival is expected to help the team's struggling offense, which surrendered an NFL-high 64 sacks and finished last in rushing production last season.
The Raiders now have two cornerstone pieces to build their line around, with Linderbaum anchoring the middle and left tackle Kolton Miller expected to return from injury.
