World number one Aryna Sabalenka is determined to claim her first Indian Wells WTA 1000 title, having lost a couple of finals in the past.
She will face Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina in the final, who has won their last two meetings and has beaten the last 12 top-10 players she's faced.
Sabalenka still leads their overall head-to-head 8-7, but Rybakina has won four of the five finals they have contested.
Sabalenka is on a mission to even up that record, saying 'I'm so done with losing these big finals.' She's expecting Rybakina's powerful best, describing it as 'super-aggressive, it's all about the first few balls in every point.'
Rybakina also spoke about her semi-final victory over Elina Svitolina, saying she needs to improve before the final and that it will come down to who comes through in the close moments.
