Jannik Sinner has achieved a historic feat by winning the Indian Wells title, joining an elite company of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. The Italian defeated Daniil Medvedev in straight sets to complete the set of all hard-court trophies, becoming the youngest to do so.

This was Sinner's sixth Masters 1,000 title, and he has also won the Australian Open and the US Open. He has been on a roll, winning nine out of his last 10 contests against Medvedev.

Medvedev deserves applause for making it to the event, considering he was stuck in the Middle East due to the ongoing war. Sinner also took the opportunity to congratulate his compatriot Kimi Antonelli, who won the Chinese Grand Prix.

Djokovic has pulled out of the Miami Open due to a right shoulder injury, which will be a significant loss for the tournament.
