England manager Thomas Tuchel has dismissed the notion that his team are too reliant on captain Harry Kane, after their 0-0 draw against Ghana.
Despite taking 19 shots and recording 78.8% possession, England struggled to find the back of the net, with Ghana's 2 attempts being the joint-fewest of any team at the World Cup so far.
Tuchel compared England's reliance on Kane to Argentina's reliance on Lionel Messi and France's reliance on Kylian Mbappe, saying 'it's just what it is, world-class players and they normally do what they do.'
Tuchel downplayed the significance of the dropped points, saying 'we don't need a wake-up call' and that the team is 'fully committed'.
England will now need a result against Panama on the final day to secure qualification to the knockout rounds.
