The FIFA World Cup 2026 has entered its knockout stage, with the Round of 32 set to begin on June 28 and conclude on July 3.

After 48 matches in the group stage, seven teams have secured their spots in the knockouts, including World Cup co-hosts Mexico and the USA, former world champions Germany, and defending champions Argentina.

However, five teams have been eliminated, including Haiti, who were playing in their first tournament since 1974, and Jordan, who were knocked out along with Tunisia, Panama, and Türkiye.

The remaining 36 teams will fight for the remaining spots in the Round of 32, with the top two teams from each group and eight third-placed teams with the best records advancing to the next stage.

The knockout qualification process involves a series of tie-breakers, including head-to-head results, goal difference, goals scored, FIFA's Team Conduct Score, and FIFA ranking.

With the stakes high, the teams will give it their all to secure their spots in the Round of 32 and move one step closer to the World Cup title.
