Bengali actress Subhashree Ganguly has returned to India after being stranded in Dubai for a week due to the US-Iran conflict. She landed in Kolkata on Friday and expressed her gratitude to fans for their love and support during the difficult time.
Ganguly was holidaying in Dubai with her minor son when the conflict began, and her husband Raj Chakraborty had earlier expressed concern for their safety. However, she has now returned safely to India.
The US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28, leading to a series of explosions across the region, including in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, and Kuwait. The conflict has caused chaos in global aviation, with airports shutting down and hundreds of flights being cancelled or diverted.
