Bollywood actor Govinda has been away from the film industry for a long time, but his name remains linked to controversies surrounding his personal life. In a recent conversation, Govinda said that it's not just his name that's been mired in controversies, but many others have been too.
He questioned the idea of a 'spotless' actor in the industry, saying, 'One who has a spotless name must be a dangerous person.' Govinda shared examples of legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, and Aamir Khan, who have all faced controversies at some point in their careers.
Amitabh Bachchan was absent from the industry for 14-15 years, while Rajesh Khanna faced criticism for his appearance. Aamir Khan was earlier known for his bad reputation, but later earned a positive image as the 'perfectionist.'
Govinda, known for his hits like Raja Babu and Bhagam Bhag, has been away from the big screen since 2019. He recently made headlines after rumours of his divorce from wife Sunita Ahuja surfaced online, but the couple has since reconciled.
