Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nishikant Dubey has hit out at the Congress and Nehru-Gandhi family over India's partition plan. He described the June 3, 1947, partition plan as the 'Mountbatten-Nehru-Jinnah agreement' and termed it as the reason behind the problems that emerged in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dubey accused the Congress of keeping Mahatma Gandhi 'out of consent' about the agreement, stressing that 'the Nehru-Gandhi family deserves the titles of traitor, deceiver, and national betrayer.'

He claimed that the foundation of India's partition was laid during the meetings held in Shimla between May 10 to 12, 1947, and that Kashmir was kept separate in the agreement.

Dubey also accused the Congress of carrying out the partition without Mahatma Gandhi's consent or knowledge, likening it to the actions of Anna Hazare or Kejriwal.
