Delhi CM Stands Firmly with Fire Victims' Families

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has condoled the loss of lives in a devastating fire at a bed-and-breakfast in Malviya Nagar, killing at least 21 people and leaving several hospitalized.

She expressed her condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to those injured in the fire tragedy.

The Delhi government is closely monitoring the situation and providing all required medical assistance and support, with teams of Delhi fire services, Delhi Police, DDMA, CATS Ambulance Services, and other emergency response agencies mobilized and launched rescue and relief operations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh from PMNRF to the next of kin of each deceased and ₹50,000 to the injured.
