Aaron Rodgers has announced that the upcoming NFL season will be his final chapter, with the Pittsburgh Steelers star set to retire after 22 seasons. Rodgers aims to strengthen his legacy by chasing milestones and climbing past NFL greats on the all-time record charts.
Currently ranked fourth on the NFL's all-time passing touchdown list with 527 touchdown passes, Rodgers trails Tom Brady (649) and Drew Brees (571). Just ahead of Rodgers in third is Peyton Manning (539), who finished his career with 539 passing touchdowns.
With 13 more touchdown passes, Rodgers can easily surpass Peyton Manning for third place on the NFL's all-time passing touchdowns list. Considering his average of 1.5 passing touchdowns per game over the past two seasons, he could realistically reach the milestone around Week 10.
However, surpassing Drew Brees for second place may be tougher, requiring 45 touchdown passes during the 2026 season. Overtaking Tom Brady for the top spot appears to be an unrealistic challenge for Rodgers.
