Kolkata: In a thrilling 2-1 win over Inter Kashi, East Bengal secured their first league title in 22 years, silencing jeers and sparking jubilant celebrations. Fans poured onto the pitch at Kishore Bharati Krirangan, hugging, crying, and dancing together.

Youssef Ezzejjari and Mohamad Rashid scored crucial goals, taking East Bengal to 26 points from 13 matches. The team's 105-year-old legacy was finally rewarded, and the stadium erupted in red and yellow colors.

East Bengal's skipper Souvik Chakrabarti was presented with the ISL12 trophy on the balcony, nearly an hour after the match. The team's hard-fought victory made the celebration even more intense, with fans forming a circle around the podium and posing for photos.
