Josh Mauro, a former NFL defensive end, has died at the age of 35. His family announced the news on social media, but the cause of death remains unconfirmed.

Josh's father, Greg Mauro, shared a heartfelt statement on Facebook, expressing the family's grief and gratitude for prayers.

Josh Mauro was born on February 17, 1991, in St Albans and later moved to the United States, where he became a strong high school football player.

He played college football at Stanford University from 2010 to 2013, making 81 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and forcing two fumbles.

Mauro played in the NFL for six years with teams like the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars, recording 130 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
