Fernando Mendoza, the Las Vegas Raiders' No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, is getting valuable advice from three ex-Heisman winners from the Raiders' 'Perfect 10' team.

Tim Brown, Marcus Allen, and Charles Woodson are urging the rookie quarterback to focus on his own skills and not try to emulate Tom Brady, with whom Mendoza grew up idolizing.

Allen praised Mendoza's decision-making skills, saying he's made big plays in crucial situations, which is a good sign for the team's stability.

Woodson noted that Mendoza has mobility and knows where to go with the football, which is most important.

Tom Brady, a part-owner of the Raiders and Mendoza's mentor, has promised to push the rookie hard during their meetings, saying he won't be 'lovey-dovey'.

Mendoza, who led Indiana to a perfect 16-0 record and a title, must now adapt to playing under center for coach Klint Kubiak, which will be his first big test.
