Mumbai: Jannik Sinner has been on a tear, winning five consecutive Masters 1000 titles, a feat only a select few have achieved before him. The Italian world No.1 has dominated the clay courts of Monte Carlo and Madrid, as well as the hard courts of Indian Wells and Miami, and the Paris Masters last October.

This achievement marks the first time a player has won five straight Masters titles, and Sinner has done so in record time, achieving the feat in just three years. He has also become the youngest player to reach the finals of all nine Masters events, a feat previously accomplished by the Big Three.

Sinner's dominance at the Masters level has been nothing short of impressive, with a 28-match winning streak at the tournament, second only to Roger Federer's 29-match streak. He has dropped just two sets in his last 28 matches, and his previous two defeats in Masters events were due to retirement.

The Italian's success can be attributed to his ability to mix up his game, adding variety to his groundstrokes-heavy style. He has been using drop shots effectively, particularly off his forehand, and has been confident in his ability to use them at the right time.

With the French Open looming later this month, Sinner will look to continue his winning streak, but his body may be the deciding factor in how he performs. He has played four big tournaments in two months, and fatigue may start to set in.
