Mumbai: Ankur Bhattacharjee, the 19-year-old table tennis sensation, is making waves in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league. Despite some ups and downs this season, Bhattacharjee remains confident in his abilities, citing a recent win against world No. 27 Chen Yuanyu of China as a major confidence booster.

Bhattacharjee, who rose to world No. 2 in juniors in the 2025 season, has been working hard to improve his game, particularly his forehand and fitness. He has reduced his practice time at the table to focus on gym work and has already noticed an improvement in his performance.

Currently ranked 109, Bhattacharjee is focused on making it to the Indian squad for the World Team Table Tennis Championships. With his sights set on the top, Bhattacharjee is working tirelessly to improve his skills and fitness, determined to make a name for himself in the world of table tennis.
